I am always happy to play with other people’s digital cameras, especially if they are newer and fancier than mine.
As my current camera was a hand-me-down from harvestdad in spring of 2007, this isn’t hard. (I had my previous camera for six years. I bought it with the fees refund when I handed my thesis in; it had 1.3 megapixels.)
Here is a crop of a shot I took about two weeks ago of Ashburton Jay’s new puppy, Miss Zsa Zsa. She was quite cold in the winter wind at the show, but fortunately we had many jackets in which to sequester her (one of the advantages of showing a short-legged breed).

On busy days at work I am reliant on pictures of puppies for the maintenance of my cheerful equilibrium.
