My sweet harassable you, too

The voice that exclaimed “hello beautiful” in the dark corridor last week today identified itself in the light, exclaiming “hello gorgeous!” as it passed me on our way to class.

I was pleased with my reaction: I stopped the student, called ‘em over, said “this has to stop–don’t do it again” and gave an explanation of the action’s inappropriateness. I still can’t decide if the voice’s owner realised they’d been caught out or genuinely had no idea it was an inappropriate thing to do, but there’s no reason now for it to continue and that’s the main thing.

All support for the maxim that I really only have to be annoyed enough, to be able to act.
