in dogs

Are puppy personalities emerging, or do I simply read into the juvenile ether what may not yet be there?

Does it really matter?

Eddie, the mama’s boy, is also the explorer, tottering around the basket on his legs and poking his head over its edge. Evie sees this as a chance to introduce herself and gives his face a wee lick.

Fern is far more placid, sleeping a great deal and grooming Fina the foster pup on occasion.

Fina is both younger and faster, motoring off by herself and then coming back for the older two to adore her. She has already the facial conformation of her small, diva-like dam and is unafraid, again like her dam, to climb to the top of the sleeping puppy pile.
