Spring Travel Fever

I’m up early for the dog shows this weekend, and contemplating the weekends ahead this spring. Next weekend I’ll be in Sydney-via-Melbourne, the weekend thereafter back home, then with Bill and our students in Kaikoura the weekend following, then in Wellie (whee!) the weekend after that, then, Holy Unexpected Work Opportunity, Batman!, the weekend after that I’ll be Yokohama. That’s Yokohama, Tokyo Bay, my friends, not Yokohama, North Christchurch.

(Alright, there is no Yokohama, North Christchurch. But how many of you briefly wondered if there was?)

The weekend after that is Labour Weekend, which will be dog shows again. Circle of leisure …
